Sophia is all over the place half the time up on two. She is still a little timid but will take up to 10 steps on her own before she crashes. The funny thing is she still won’t go back and forth between us. I have never heard of a baby that won’t do that. Very independent.
We saw what Brian calls “shades of her Dad” in Serra this week. When I picked her up from pre-school her teacher handed me her work that was not complete and told me she wouldn’t practive her A’s. When I asked Serra about it she said, “It was too hard and I decided not to.” I think she was tired from staying up too late the night before but I made her do it at home the next day nonetheless.

We have conferred and postulate that our young SerraV may have scraped contributions from several portions of the genetic pool! e/s pc
i never did my homework in first grade. I remember sticking my undone homework in my back pack which was hanging in the hall closet and looking to see if mom saw me. How did I pass first grade?
Is that her Dad that just received his MBA from Pepperdine or some other Dad? ~g
That would be the one but boy oh boy does he have some coniving school stories, including telling his teacher he couldn’t do his homework because his dad lost his job and he now had to work to help support the family. It would have worked too except the teacher called his mom to see if there was anything he could do to help.
She doesn’t get any of that from me. I was always an angel. teehee
