We actually labored on Labor Day. Our yard needed a little attention and so we spent a few hours sprucing it up. We had to take out a Eucalyptus tree that was pretty much dead. In it’s place we put a lemon tree we dragged from Santa Paula. Lemons do well here so we hope it takes off. We are storing Jeffs lawn mower as well and it is much appreciated to keep our small patch trimmed. Desert landscaping is much easier to maintain than yards where water is more abundant. A little trimming now and then and a little weed pulling once in a while. We are enjoying Las Vegas and it has actully started cooling down. It was 87 degrees while I was running last night and it actually felt cool.
Serra started pre-school last Tuesday and had a good time. She had to paint her name and she said “I had to stay on the lines and it was super hard.” She goes again today and I can tell she is excited although she pretends it’s no big deal.
Here are some pictures from Serra’s wedding.
