It’s 4:30AM and I am sitting here at the computer trying to breath. I developed a cold yesterday and it is definitely keeping me up.
Good news: 999 pictures, 310 pages later, I finished our “trip” scrapbook. I used blurb.com and was able to download it Saturday. I have been working on it since August. It took several hours to download and actually three different tries as something kept interrupting the connection. I am so glad Brian did a running narrative on Xanga. It was a life saver in deciphering many of the pictures. I expect to see it in the mail in a few weeks. Thanks Mom for showing me that website. I have fallen sadly behind in the scrapbook department and the trip was a major mental block for me. I figured out we took on average nearly 40 pictures a day for 30 days. Now I can go back to 2005 and try to get caught up on the rest of everyones books. It is the one major goal I have before critter #3 makes an appearance. Maybe I can get lot’s done in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep.
We have been so busy with church and work around here lately it seems like Brian and I are hardly living in the same house. We coordinate with each other every week who needs to be home which evenings with the kids while the other is off doing one thing or another. Work has been nuts for Brian and when I get home in the evenings or if I am already there he is back in his office working until the wee hours of the morning. Something’s gotta give but I’m not sure what at this point.
I don’t encourage a nap for Rosie as she tends to stay up until 11pm or later if she gets even a small one. But sometimes she just gets really tired during the day and puts herself down. I found her on my bedroom floor one afternoon while I was working on the trip book. She pulled the little accent blanket off my bed, found a doll, and packed a bag for dreamland. I thought it was way too cute. Sorry the next are so small. They were taken from a photographer in our wards website. He takes a lot of pictures for our ward. Brian participated in the pie eating contest. He had to pick it up because it was FROZEN. And there is me finishing the 5K last week.

a cold + pregnancy = NO FUN! Hope you feel better quickly!!
perhaps its time for brian to get into an office and make an assistant do all the work!
That pie looks like a giant cookie! I can’t imagine trying to eat a frozen pie!–maren
If the pie was a frozen key-lime it would be yummy, but it didn’t look like one. good for you and the race! and little Rosie is quite the sleeping beauty!
It was a frozen applie pie. I thought my jaw was going to fall off by the end of it. -B
You ate and ENTIRE frozen apple pie? Okay, I have to go purge now….
Actually he didn’t win and no he didn’t finish it. His jaw hurt too much. Brian’s good with volume over time but lacks the skills some have of downing great quantities in a short time limit.
5K Pam?!?! Way impressive. WAAAAAAAY at your stage. ~L
Ok so maybe I didn’t do the whole thing. I did a little over half of it. I knew going into it that my back would give out if I did the whole thing. So I took 1 short cut. So really it was about a 3K.
5K and you’re how many months preggers? You’re the glutton for punishment!!!!! Yeah, I had the same lofty goals re: scrapbooking before my 3rd came. FYI it never got finished and you do the math—but maybe you’re onto something with this blurb.com. I still have lofty goals for six kids too. Let me know how it goes!
3k or 5k, doesn’t matter, that is great. Frozen pie? that doesn’t sound too good.
When I was prego I couldn’t even walk down the block before my lower back gave out. Excellent work. What’s with feeding anyone a frozen pie. That sounds really cruel.
