  • Well, the surgery was a success but the pregnancy was short lived.  I guess we jumped the gun in sharing the news but it is really hard to keep it to ourselves when we have been through so much to get to that point.     (I know others relate out there)  Anyway I suspected something was not right on Sunday and went into my doc for some blood tests on Monday which confirmed our worst suspicions.  We are optimistic though that we will be able to start over very soon.  Hopefully we will have better luck next time.  I’m not taking it as hard as last time.  Serra is a big part of that.  I just tell her I need a big hug and she comes over and squeezes me tight and says.  “Big hug.”

Serra has started saying prayers by herself.  It is very sweet.  Sometimes she forgets to begin it properly but she tells Heavenly Father all about her day in minute detail and then ends it properly.  On food blessings instead of asking to bless the food she tells him what we are having.

I ended up at Urgent Care last night for bronchitis. I was getting better last weekend and then I relapsed.  I have had this before and without antibiotics it can go on for months.  I am not up for that, especially since I am singing on Sunday in our meeting with Chieko Okasaki.  I wanted to participate in this trio and I am the only soprano.  Hopefully these meds will to the trick.  Serra is not doing so hot either.  I may end up taking her in if her cough gets any worse.

  • Children are beautifully uplifting!

  • pam….i felt so awful on monday when I heard what was happening with you. Now you’ve got bronchitis??? What is the deal?! Well….you and your family are definitely in my prayers. I love you…

  • when it rains it pours

  • … that, too! Love to you, Sis… pc

  • Pam, sorry about what you are going through, bit it sounds very familiar.  We had trouble getting pregnant at first and that is why we adoped Aaron and Teri Lynn.  Judy Lynn had what was called “Polycystic (having or containing many cysts) ovaries”.  Judy Lynn did get pregnant with Todd after some “investgative surgery” and ended up having him cesarean section, and while they were in there they “fixed” the problem and you know the rest of the story.  If you want to call Judy Lynn and talk, we would love to hear from you.JR

  • Hoping you’re soon well enough to enter the FRAY… haven’t heard from you enough… pc

  • Like I told Brian the other day, when you called early in the a.m. and asked for the number for the midwife center my heart sank – there’s only one reason you would beat the rooster up for that #…  So sorry for both of you. ~G
