  • It’s hard to believe but Pam and I have now been here in Southern California for six months.  It’s amazing to think back on the changes we made and how different our lives would be if we had stayed put there in Las Vegas.  Lately I’ve done a lot of thinking about choices we make and the how they determine the type of life you and your family lead.  The responsibility is sometimes overwhelming but you can only make the best decision you can with the information you currently have.  Anyhow, the class I’m taking deals a lot with introspection and touchy-feely things and it kind of has my head spinning.  It’s good though.

Pam is out at this very moment with Debbi Onken’s mom looking at condos in Simi Valley.  It’s a bit discouraging that an entry level condo is going for almost $200,000 but encouraging that there are units out there within our striking distance.  We are blessed to have understanding and giving landlords that have extended our current lease as long as we need.  It will allow us to be picky, in an arena where we dont’ have a lot to chose from, so we’ll hopefully find something that will suit us well.

I’m enjoying my work with Dad and Martin.  I’m starting to grasp more about the coaches and Martin is often bending my ear about business strategy.  It’s a real good experience for me and I hope I’m living up to their expectations.  We got new shirts for me with the “Expedition Motor Homes” logo so I feel much more official now.

Serra is doing great.  She is learning new stuff everyday and her personality is coming out in a big way.  We are kicking around the possibility of making it up to the cabin in July but that largely depends on my school schedule and work.  We’ll keep you all posted.

  • Brian, YOU’RE ALIVE!!!  Good to hear from you.  It’s been a few weeks since we’ve been up to view the color of your hair and if it’s still in your head!  Sounds like you are coping well with work/school/church.  Hope to see you all soon! ~L

  • did you get a buzz or something brian???

  • Serra, I don’t think Brian has done anything to his head, I meant to imply if the Masters Program was aging him prematurely or anything :)

  • Great entry Brian!  ~G
