  • I found out the results of some blood work I had done a few months ago.  I have a blood clotting disorder that is a common cause of frequent miscarriages.  The treatment is as simple as one baby aspirin a day.  I learned that this condition can cause heart problems later in life and so I am officially on an aspirin regiment.  Maybe the miscarriage in September was a blessing so that I was able to find out about this and avoid problems later in life?

  • Holy Cow Pam.  Who knew?  Good attitude about the blessing in disguise.  Let’s hope nothing negative ever comes of it all. ~L

  • They told me after doing all that blood work after my 2nd miscarriage that I had a blood clotting issue as well. With Olivia I was on the aspirin a day for the first trimester & progesterone (for other issues). I wonder if I’m supposed to continue the aspirin forever? Hmmm.

  • glad it was caught early enough. So does this mean having children wont be as difficult?

  • It may save me from a miscarriage.  Looks like Julie and I are two peas in a pod.  Progesterone and baby aspirin.

  • Our little podlings! pc

  • hmm….perhaps i should have my blood checked out. perhaps i’ll join your podling group…?

  • For years I have had several friends tell me the same thing with baby aspirin, I’ve just never tried it. I guess that it can’t hurt.–maren
