I found out the results of some blood work I had done a few months ago. I have a blood clotting disorder that is a common cause of frequent miscarriages. The treatment is as simple as one baby aspirin a day. I learned that this condition can cause heart problems later in life and so I am officially on an aspirin regiment. Maybe the miscarriage in September was a blessing so that I was able to find out about this and avoid problems later in life?

Holy Cow Pam. Who knew? Good attitude about the blessing in disguise. Let’s hope nothing negative ever comes of it all. ~L
They told me after doing all that blood work after my 2nd miscarriage that I had a blood clotting issue as well. With Olivia I was on the aspirin a day for the first trimester & progesterone (for other issues). I wonder if I’m supposed to continue the aspirin forever? Hmmm.
glad it was caught early enough. So does this mean having children wont be as difficult?
It may save me from a miscarriage. Looks like Julie and I are two peas in a pod. Progesterone and baby aspirin.
Our little podlings! pc
hmm….perhaps i should have my blood checked out. perhaps i’ll join your podling group…?
For years I have had several friends tell me the same thing with baby aspirin, I’ve just never tried it. I guess that it can’t hurt.–maren
