I’m not one to have an allergic reaction or anything like that. Two days ago I chopped up some overgrown bushes in our yard. There was alot of dust and bush material flying. Since then my eyes balls have been swollen and red. People keep asking me if I’m alright. I think I need to go get some allergy drops or something. Sorry, no pictures.

ahhhh… com’on Pam… we want pictures! Seriously… we are sorry. So what kind of bush was it? Maybe it was a poisonous one… at least poisonous to you, huh.
Take some benedryl. That may be more effective than drops. ~ b

Benedryl will make you drowsy but if it takes the puff down, you’ll at least be a sleeping beauty.
Allergy eye drops did the trick. I don’t like taking medication if I can help it. Especially if it makes me drowsy.
Oh, and as far as what kind of bush it was…they look like a Cousin IT. It smelled like hay when I cut it. Las Vegas is about the worse place for allergies I hear, even if you aren’t usually suseptible.
That’s ture. I’ve never had a problem with allergies until we moved here. When that wind kicks up and the dust starts flying I’m in trouble.–maren
Yeah, just wait to you get what’s called “vegas voice” from allergies from getting hoarse from it. There was a lady in our ward who said she never had a problem either till living in Vegas. No fun!!
