The females of the house are suffering. Head colds. No fun. Wish I could breath.
We have had some fun weeks though. The weather warmed up and we spent most of the week at one park or another for hours every day. We took the girls sledding again last Saturday (Saw a kid hit a tree. Sledding is dangerous) and bowling with Jeff and Maren a week ago. I represented myself shamefully. But let the record show that I have been bowling less than 5 times my whole life and the last time was 10 years ago. Definitely not enough times to have developed any kind of skill. Yes, Serra did beat me once but she did have bumpers guaranteeing her at least 2 points per turn. Most of my balls gravitated toward one gutter or the other. It was fun anyway and you gotta love the shoes. Brian found great pleasure in beating Jeff, probably because Jeff puts on such a manly show only to be shamed. He He…
Yesterday, we got together with the other Andersons, including Amy Jo and Tucker down from Provo, and Jeff and Maren. There was quite the spread of “football treats” and the boys watched while the girls played games taking breaks to watch a commercial now and then.
Brian’s construction business really couldn’t be doing better. Brian is so busy he has more work than he can handle and needs to hire some help. It is supposedly the slow season so I can’t imagine what the workload will be like come summer. All of his work is on the other side of town and so he commutes as much as he did or more than in California. We recognize the time this takes him away from home and so we are presently looking for a lot to build on closer to where all his work is generating. Land is pricey though and we haven’t found anything that will work for us yet.

Growing up tooooooo fast! How much did her ball weigh? She totally chucked it!! ~L
How some people think snow is fun. . . . the kids have a Primary snow activity this weekend. The girls are excited, mom’s not . . . dad will be busy with YM stuff. I love the shades and Serra’s cute hat!! Land in small town Idaho is expensive, I can only imagine land around Vegas. Good luck!
Serra’s ball was 6 pounds. That’s almost like her chucking around a gallon of milk. We were glad they didn’t ask us to replace the floor.
Little Rosie sure sounded like she was letting you know how she felt about the slide. I think I should like to try Serra V. bowling technique. It would improve my score, I am sure.
Fabulous photos and video. That’s a great sledding hill and I love the shot-put bowling and sibling slide slam. Great stuff! Can’t wait to hear more about Brian’s business in person. ~g
I think the first photo is so cute… The girls had their own opinions as to how fun the snow was, didn’t they.
good stuff!
The last photo of Rosie asleep on the floor is so cute. She still sleeps like a baby.
Simple solution… … … don’t breath! e/s pc
