  • Pudding anyone?

Early-Jan-001 Sorry for the absence.  I have been up to my elbows in flu fluids.  Rosie, poor Rosie, has been hit for the second time with the flu and is in and out of the tub and changing clothes all day long for reasons you might guess.  She seems to be on the mend though.

My other excuse is my typical xanga update time is in the morning and I have filled that spot now with walking.  We have started walking 2.5 to 3 miles a day.  Serra seems able to handle that much but not much more without complaint so I won’t push it by trying to do more.  Maren joins us when her school schedule allows.

We saw alot of Jeff and Maren the week after New Years while Maren was out of school.  I think 3 nights that week and one afternoon.  We sure enjoy having them here.  The girls especially.

Brian’s birthday was on Monday and we celebrated by going to one of our favorite spots – Bonnie Springs.  It has a petting zoo that we knew the girls would enjoy.  Then Brian and I dropped off the girls with Brians mom and we went to dinner.  PFChangs.  Then to a movie.  Night at the Museum.  Not bad.  It was a fun day.

Some serious burro bootay.  And you thought you had a big butt.

I think this goose is Mormon.

I was talking to Dad as I took this picture and quickly stepped back when he reminded me that llamas spit.

Brian got a small fridge for his truck and some other booty.

  • Fabulous entry.  Loved the bootay and the Mormon goose.  You are so funny!  Happy way-belated birthday Bri!  I’m now 0 and 2 for brothers birthdays this year and we’re not even two weeks into it yet!!  Just call me heel boy.  ~g

  • Why is it that we find making kids seriously dizzy so funny?? And they love it…we’ve had great times doing that with Teri’s kids and I’m sure there are plenty to come with Saw-yer-buns!! Sorry poor Rosie has had the flu…and sorry for you having to clean that up! Not fun…Happy b-day Brian!!

  • There couldn’t be a more appropriate song for the clip setting… indeed, but we’re wondering if maybe it wasn’t the flu afterall! e/s pc

  • The flu & spinning in circles? No wonder she was ralphing! Jeff is a real live Tigger. Always has been. Where does he get his energy? Olivia still asks about where he is & why he’s not downstairs when she wakes up. What is WRONG with that burrows booty? She (for surely a man couldn’t have a butt like that) must be related to us. It’s the missing link! so that’s where our rears came from.

  • I thought that  burrow looked pretty funny too. It looked like the poor donkey at a kids party whose tail got pinned on wrong.

The music in the background of the video was terrific…

BTW… You might consider the BRAT diet. It is what the mission doctor puts all sick missionaries on when they have stomach problems…. Bananas-Rice-Applesauce-Toast (no butter, of course).

    Great post!

I have never seen a mini-frig for the car… the inventor must have lived through a summer in Vegas

  • awwww…..i MISS you guys. At first, I thought the tigger song was really on in the background. Alas. very appropriate for the guest entertainer. i loved the animal nicknames. very appropraite. youre funny. hahaha

  • pudding on white carpet!…very brave.  Happy b-day Brian!

  • The pudding wasn’t given to her.  She fished it out of the garbage and found a spoon and was going to town.  The burro, we found out, has a tumor that makes it’s booty extra large.

  • I too thought you were brave with pudding on the carpet. . .And for the petting zoo. I told Brian I have phobias of petting zoos and think I’d rather have my kids have their food in a mudpile than have them pet a bunch of different animals at petting zoos. Looks like the girls had a great time though! Glad the birthday festivities were so fun.

  • I just looked at your photos again & laughed equally as hard at the burro the 2nd go around.

  • AW! I miss your family! The girls look so grown up and cute as can be.  Looks like you guys are having just as much fun as when I last saw you! I love the video! What a fun uncle!

  • BTW… we liked the TX longhorn!

  • It’s bad enough to be assigned as a burro at the creation – but to have a booty tumor to boot?  That’s cruel.  ~g
