  • Last Saturday our ward did a chili cookoff and had games and contests and such.  It was a fun ward party.  There was what Serra now calls the “Pie Race” or a pie eating contest in which Brian participated and was creamed by many others.  He claims that if it were a contest with unlimited pies instead of a time limit, he could take them all.  Anyway, a guy by the last name of Pope beat everyone including the Bishop who has been talking smack about his winning the last two years.  So now the joke is that the Bishop got beaten by a Pope.  Ha Ha!

Rosie has conquered the stairs and can now navigate both up and down.  She learned how to do that because she also knows how to unlatch the “baby” gate.  So much for outsmarting kids with latches.

And now the moment you have all been waiting for.  Holly Hobbie and Mulan.

  • I am dying right now. For real those are the coolest costumes yet. You are amazing. So are your kids for sitting still for those photos. I’m not going to talk about my kids photos because the story makes me angry.

  • Serra sits still.  We did three seperate sessions with the menace and I am constantly chasing her and trying to distract her into staying and looking up.  No small feat.  You obviously can relate.

  • HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  To die for Pam- those are incredible!!!!  Rosie hobbie especially.   WOW!  ~L

  • We are absolutely speechless!

  • seriously. I am all amazed. Whats real sweet is that I’ll be having children after you, so my kids will go shopping in YOUR costume box….YES!

  • So does Rosie always get a new costume or will she be cycled through? Geezz. We tape a towel to their heads and send them out begging for candy. It is much easier! LOL!

  • Those costumes are beyond amazing. Pam, you’re incredible! Brian, condolences on getting whipped (or is it “creamed”) in a pie eating contest. I was victorious in one a few years back. My secret was to smear my head around in the pie as much as possible while eating and then claim an early victory. Eventually there was more pie on my face and on the table than in my belly, but the pie tin was empty and my hooting and hollering convinced everyone that I really had won. My dignity has never recovered. ~g

  • WOW! they look amazing. you are so ambitious. We found pieces of the girls costumes from the dollar store- then sent them out huddled up in their coats so you could only see their pretty faces anyway. . . . .It was at least in the 20′s this year . . . .

  • Pam you are amazing! I was complaining all night at school that I was there rather than with your girls.–maren

  • Such beautiful children!

  • Sooooooo . . . what else is new?

  • im ready for a new post.
