  • Brian totaly thought he was in the clear when he was called as the 12-13 year old Sunday school teacher last month.  Sweet calling with no meetings.  I guess it was just a holding pattern calling until they found just the right fit for him.  He was asked to meet with the Stake High Council yesterday morning and is the new Executive Secretary.  He now goes to as many meetings as the bishop….and he has to be really organized.  Lucky boy.

  • Meetings are KING! and we know Brian loves meetings… Gary could weigh in on “how to be an effective E/S…” … that’s Executive Secretary for those checking in from Rio Lynda. Now, is this in addition to the S/S class?  e/s pc

  • hehehehehehe

  • If I wouldn’t lose all my blessing by complaining you’d be hearing an earfull!

  • Sweet!  That was my calling for two years up until last March.  We had a fabulous bishop who I learned from enormously.  Enjoy Brian – you’ll do great!  ~g

  • That’s the calling Jared always wishes he’d get. I’m not sure why but for some reason he really wants it. Maybe that’s why he’s never been called to it. you’ll do fine. Pam will too.

  • That has been one of my favorite callings (should be, I have done it for FIVE bishoprics!) You get to know everything going on, but none of it is your responsibility! The only time I got in trouble was when I included my name on the long list of releases to be read in sacrament meeting by a counselor in the bishopric and he did it without even realizing what he had just done! Ha ha ha! He did not think it was that funny…!

  • hahahaha! thats great u.david. Thats the best joke i’ve ever heard played. hahahha

  • We are still laughing, David.  That is just too funny.  Your meetings must have been fun.  Brian… if you really don’t like it, you might give that a try.

You will be a great ES

  • Thanks for the vote of confidence.  I can see why Jared would like the calling…being the accountant that he is.  It’ll be a good experience for me.

  • Great Calling… and great training!
