As noted it the last comments things are moving along well. We have the to do list from our buyers and it is “do-able”. We were worried because of some of the things the inspector came up with. He was a nightmare not only for us but for the buyer as well. We were afraid his 15 page report was going to scare them off. Some of the items were so ridiculous it was annoying. Like Brian mentioned, bumpers in the garage to prevent cars from hitting the washer and dryer. Brian is taking at least one full day this week to complete termite repairs and the list items. The termite treatment and inspections will all take place this weekend. Hopefully that is all we will have to to with the house and then we can concentrate on packing. Our buyer is interested in most of our furnishings and so we will be taking a lot less with us. A lot of shopping awaits us when we return from our trip. We have signed escrow papers and sent them in. I am sure they will send us more. It seems to be a never ending process.
As far as the new house goes, as far as I know escrow started Monday and is contingent on the sale of our Santa Paula property closing without any hitches. We spent some time there Saturday taking pictures and measurements. It is really hard to not go out and start buying new stuff for the place. We will not be there officially until May 19th. But when the time comes our address is: 8876 Sparkling Creek Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89143. I won’t know home phone #’s until then as well. You can still reach us via cell phone though: Pam 702-374-7997 and Brian 702-445-4885.
