Here is the boogus floating around by herself. It’s her big accomplishment this summer.
Vegas is off for the time being and Katrina is to blame. Not cousin but Hurricane. We were all set to take off this evening but a deal for Expedition Motor Homes came up which requires 22 coaches to be driven to Houston Texas over the next week. Brian is the only one in the office that could cancel something so he is off this afternoon, leading the first caravan. (or cara-coach) Anyway rather than spend another weekend as a family, Serra and I are alone until Saturday late or possibly even Sunday. Bummer. Serra is taking the no-Vegas-this-weekend rather well although she insists that we still are going. I guess it’s a good thing she doesn’t have a great concept of time. Maybe Serra and I will treat ourselves to a movie later this afternoon. I hear March of the Penguins is good and it’s the only G-rating out right now.

The disappointments in life make the good times even sweeter… now I’ll duck! pc
Brian must work for some really mean people.
Disaster relief comes in all forms. Nice of you all to make a contribution. ~ b
Forget the contribution. These people have funds being handed to them. Rent those puppies at regular price and pay your fast offerings. I just learned from Jesse Jackson that Katrina is a racist plot. I suppose God is a racist then. I sent in my donation, but I am getting callous in my old age, but I am getting tired of the racist whining by people that chose to live 8 feet under sea level and did not heed the evacuation warning. Particularly their idiot Mayor who is blaming everyone but his administration when they did not implement the emergency evacuation plans prior to the storm’s landfall. Weenies.
You have some strong feelings about this, I take it, Barbara. Me too. I am glad to donate to the church and feel good about letting them use the funds as they see fit. It is amazing. We are renting the coaches at regular winter rates but found out that our prices are a third to a quarter what the other companies are. I think that is dispicable! (I don’t really even know how to spell that, but you get the idea.) Glad Brian made it home O.K. Poor guy was pretty exausted.
I think that was U. David and I agree wholeheartedly.
