Maybe I was too vague in my last entry announcement. I guess anyone reading who had not experienced the early stages of pregnancy would think I was complaining about the flu or something like it. So here I am being a little clearer. We are expecting again and I am holding out so far going on 8 weeks. I will feel a little more confident when the 12th week is done and the progesterone need is gone and the risk decreases to almost none. We saw and heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks and that is a good sign.
Today Serra~V~ was watching an episode of Blues Clues where they were talking about words in spanish. She came upstairs to where I was on the computer and tells me that “milk is leche” she already knows “hola” means hello and hollers it at people in the grocery store. It can be a little unnerving especially since 70% of the people are hispanic. If she is not yelling hola over and over she is yelling at people to get out of the way. We get dirty looks sometimes but mostly laughs as I apologize and tell SV to pipe down.
We are hanging out with the cuzzins today while Gary and Liesl attend the temple. Serra’s version of heaven.

I’ll bet the innocent bystanders just think she’s another little spanish girl. She could pass for a hispanic you know.
Heaven, in deed… pc
Serra is so funny! She makes me giggle.–maren
Then what am I, her white nanny? I don’t think I could pass for a hispanic.
No you could not. But she could pass for a lot of different ethnicities. She’s exotic looking; very beautiful. It’s the eyes.
She gets the eyes from her favorite uncle. ~G
