Just so you all don’t think we have given up on Xanga. Our computer has a virus deeply embedded in it somewhere and is making life difficult for us. We have been working with some techs at Best Buy to get it fixed. They got it working well enough for us this week so we can back everything up before we reformat. I was stressing big time when we took it in, afraid I had lost all my pictures and journal entries. I have been able to back those up and am now working on less important things. We will begin the reformat this week and then take it back to BB where they will finish the maintenance. I think we will have to get some really good anti-virus software since this is the second time this has happened.
Meanwhile we are doing great. Serra is a chatterbox and attempts to repeat everything we say. Sometimes she does something so funny I have to whip out the video camera. A few weeks ago I was working on scrapbook stuff and she was busy with her toys. I turned around and she was playing with something but had a wig on. She thinks it’s a hat.
We miss Brian as he is gone a lot of the time but we have learned to really appreciate when he has a day with no committment and can spend it with us. We spent one of those days last week planting peppers tomatoes and flowers. Brian takes great pride in our little garden and checks on it frequently and even calls me when it’s raining to go out and make sure they are not drowning. I really hope it produces so he doesn’t get discouraged about planting stuff.
I must go and an continue baking up stuff.

Can you believe that Serra is almost 2? BTW were you able to find a doctor that was willing to help you guys?–maren
When you fear the computer has crashed it is a very terrible feeling. Our harddrive crashed a few weeks back but luckily we were able to get back on just long enough to back up the journals & other things. I can’t wait to see you guys…but I hope the bean waits until next week.
