I told the wienie dogs what you all said, and they did not like the idea one iota. They are anti-labor. They don’t even like walks anymore. They are all very fat and lazy. What a great life they have.
I’m almost better, Serra~V~ has a cough and stuffy nose now. It is very sad. She tries to sleep with her thumb in her mouth and can’t breath. Then she starts coughing and it wakes her up and she groans a high pitched baby groan. She looks at me accusingly, like it’s my fault. Then there is the nose sucker. THE DREADED NOSE SUCKER! It is like a fight to the death when I pull that thing out. She sees it and starts panting. She is a strong little bugger. She has the ability to successfully fight me off. With the head thrashing back and forth and the hands tugging at mine it is near impossible to get anything. She actually starts to laugh when I don’t succeed. If I hold down her hands and hold her head steady against me, her face turns so red I am afraid she is going to have and aneurysm. So we wait until she is blowing snot bubbles before we resort to the torture. No wonder she prefers her dad. He won’t do anything that makes him the bad guy. He is afraid she’ll hate him. So after I torture her, he grabs her and comforts her. Two words describe the Serra~V~’s feeling for Dad. NAKED ADORATION.
When Brian got home SV couldn’t stop smiling. She talked with him for hours yesterday morning. They got all caught up on the weekend happenings. She really does talk to him. Last night he was headed upstairs and so he handed her over to me. While she could still see him, she followed him with her eyes like a little hawk. Then he was gone, and guess who started wailing. Mom’s ok when there is not a dad to be had, but if he’s around, forget it.
Work continues to be bad for Brian. As soon as another opportunity presents itself, we are so outta here. The last three people to come to work at his branch have quit after one week. (Last one today). They find other jobs with equal pay, and less hours. Why would they stay? Anyway, Brian and Cary get in trouble for it. Their bosses say it’s their fault. If they controlled the hours and pay, maybe.

and may her adoration for her dad ever be so. It is as it should be….but it is hard to be the bad guy, isn’t it. I suppose that since the dad’s aren’t lucky enough to be home with the bambino all the time it is only right that when they are home they should be adored. mom
Brian’s Mom didn’t raise no dumbies… who was it that said MEN are the dumber sex…
Personally, I enjoy using the nose sucker on my children. I suppose Joseph is getting a little old though… ~G
Quite a vision that description created.
Maren hates it to. Have to use on her when she’s asleep
